Cage Skirts. Go or No Go?
I know, i know. You can rant and rave at me. I'm centuries late for with the notice, but it was a gradual process.. and hey, they grew on me.
Alright Ladies, for the past year plus, i couldn't help noticing the cage skirt.
At first, i thought they looked terrible, and wasn't the biggest fan, but i have come to love them ...as soon as they're fading out of fashion. Typical me.

Anyways, from the 1880z onwards, women added a 'cage' as such under their dresses to get a va-va-va-vooom. It didn't look too becoming on them, but hey, no one but their hussly husbands would see them, right?

Exactly. So for them it was no problem..
But they've made a comeback. In an outside & more boofy form.
Raunchy ladies started to wear them "outside" their skirts. How risq-uéz!!

Any style guruz like susie aka style bubble have long gone commented on them...

wearing

Norweigan Wood joined the party creating her own caged skirt, which i must say, is RATHER gorgeous.. especially the image on the right, and the silver leggings, WAHH!!

Heck, whilst i'm with the cages, why don't i just wear caged boots too...

But in all seriousness, pretty sure i am going online to see the selection on cage skirts, an i'm goin to buy one right now!!

hunh, I think cage skirts need to be pulled off in a really specific way... but when they're done right, they look amazing! I think it really depends on the pieces you wear the skirt with, susie pulls it off amazingly.

i say GO!

hahah why not? we're young yet, we should have fun with what we wear, no matter what anyone else says!

btw, thanks for the lovely comment, I KNOW THE TIGHTS ARE SO HECTIC!! sorry but i felt the caplock was neccessary for such awesomeness. i got them at PADDY'S MARKETS IN the city-- really surprisingly good quality- thick but not cumbersome, smooth but strong etc etc AND SUCH A VIBRANT COLOUR!~

i can't remember the stall number, but there are around two in the general vicinity (closer to the end.. that doesn't make sense) but just explore. i got these for $9!! they all are that price from that stall, such great colours.

definately check them out!

If I could pull off a cage skirt, I would do it. Which means that if you're inspired to wear one, you MUST. To do otherwise would be a squandering of your personal style resource. For serious.

I love that picture of Susie Bubble. She does cage skirts (and all other trends) so well. I'm not sure I'm ready to wear a cage skirt myself, though.

Also, I do use a tripod. I'm glad you like my poses. I'm not such a great model, but I try. :)
